With all that talk of the new PS3 SKU, we somehow forgot about the Wii and its need to freshen up. Well, a website has posted a rumor that a 'New Pack' is to be made available for the Wii soon with the UPC of the SKU being 045496880088 which traces back to Nintendo of America.

I have tried to do a bit of digging regarding this unit. The UPC of this item is g045496880088 and although no information is available at this time, UPC search engines reveal that it is owned by Nintendo of America. Either this unit is just a regular Wii with a new UPC, or we can expect a brand new Wii sku/bundle to hit retailers this Holiday Season. The retail price is expected to be around $289.99 (CAN) based on the information I have available. Perhaps we can expect a new color? Nevertheless, we were promised big news in September and hopefully, this was supposed to be it.
