MS attack PS3 sales, Cell, Blu-ray, pretty much everything
Aaron Greenberg, Director of Product Management for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, has attacked Sony for failing to deliver on its promises. "Where are all the other products using and networking with their CELL chip? How come Blu-ray did not result in better games? What happened with Sixaxis and rumble? Where is the complete 1080p game library we were promised? If Blu-ray as they said would be such a catalyst to PS3 console sales, then why have PS3 sales over the past couple months not seen any lift since the format victory?" said Greenburg. Greenburg went on to says that he is confident that the Xbox 360 will extend its lead over the PS3 in 2008.

We know the iPhone/iPodtouch has far more internal resources for games and is in a "significantly different class of performance compared to DS & PSP," but can it withstand punishment from an overzealous gamer? The guys over at broken review tested it and found that it could withstand general drops and scratches well but it didn't fair too well in tests involving a first storey drop and running over it with a motorcycle. The general manager of EA's DICE Studio has said that we are not starting to see the limits of the PS3's capabilities now and it will be a while until the PS3 is pushed to the edge. "Oh no. I've been around for two different console cycles now, this is my third one, and it's always the case that the first several years everybody's exploring the bounds of it, and it's not until several years down the road that you're able to squeeze every drop out of it." said the GM.
