PSP internal harddisk mod!

PvP of Acidmods has created an internal harddisk mod for the PSP. The harddisk comes from a 30Gb iPod and replaces the UMD drive. Since connecting the harddisk internally, which would be much nicer for the eye, causes problems with PC connections, he routed the harddisks USB cable through a hole in the UMD door to the external USB connector. Additional hardware (a small PCB) was needed to make it work as a usbhostfs compatible device for iRShell.

Check out the details here!

Wouldn't mind this at all, since installing custom firmware i have hardly opened my UMD door so its useable space to me. I love the idea of UMD i think its a great storage medium however 30gb of HDD is much better.

It causes problems with the PC when wired internally, what kind of problem?
