singstar works (kinda). Just load a cogswap / swapmagic elf from a usb stick or the memor32.

any instructiond for a newbie would be good???

It seems to me that the project froze.
At least the should give an update on the work in progress on ther webpage

i was also wondering what was happening so i emailed ozmodcips and this is what they said:

i wish they could. why cant they release just the PAL and can even call it a BETA. it should be out soo though........i hope.

I bug the living **** out of them every day to bring it out.
They know that if they even give me BETA, i will leak it

they know that if they bring out PAL only, NTSC users will be mega pissed.
They know that if they bring out nothing, people will be pissed.

People will be pissed either way.

But yes, they are alive - people keep saying that they have pissed off, but its not true.

All I want is an official forum for memento, so everyone can talk about it in one spot.

I understand the position they are in, but they could still at least give us an update on their current situation. Any specific reason why NTSC is not working? Does this have to do with specific PS2 models?

i understand but i agree with jcgamer60 that they should have at least updated the site to let ppl know because they are pissed either way. im not getting so mad at them (but would be better if they updated the site) because i know its not just something easy that takes no time.

i think an official memento forum is a great idea. do u think they (or some1 else) will make 1? i hope so.

also do u (ozmodchips) think that u will be getting any more usb cables to bundle with the memor32? and if not what type of usb cable can be used (i don't have a psp)

The guy that I have contact with is the least technical guy of the team, he is the guy that is in charge of the website etc, he is the one that post the updates etc.

He didn't specify the problem, he just said there is one.

Yes, there will be memento forum with the new site. Anyone involved with software dev will know that stuff gets delayed all the time, just be patient. The amount of email I personally get a day is frustrating to say the least. Retailers have no real input.

The cables are coming soonish...IT distributores are lazy.

but they will be available with the memor for $5 or so extra....but the price of the memor might drop a little due to the amount we are getting in. Its a standard Usb male to small USB male cable...

cool i hope the price does drop. the one thing some ppl are saying that i have read on the forums is that its expensive. i dont think its 2 bad cause got a plug and play mod chip for friggin $88! the price drop should balance out the price of usb cable with it won't it?

what will the address of the new site be? is it the same? is that why the old site isnt being updates (cause there is a new 1 being made)?

I personally don't blame them at all for not having a forum just yet. It would just be flooded with either happy people just wanting an update, or a bunch of pissed off people.
I remember with the DS flash carts and the flack that so many of them got and still get, could just see it being the same. Will never please all the people,all the time, and so many who don't understand the software dev and the time it takes with something new. I didn't mind the price I paid for mine, and I had a usb cable from my DS Lite flash that works fine. There is a lot of memory on the card, if nothing else. Just remember a lot of those cables may look the same but they don't all work for the same devices. I had a couple that didn't work. Will just keep testing it out until the new firmware arrives.

yes i agree im not complaining i dont understand it but i do understand that its not easy. the only thing i was saying was they should have had an update on the website. the price isnt bad considering:

1. u can transfer save games
2. plug and play memory card!!!!!
3. 32mb of memory
