Am I SPG'ing incorectly? (Virtua Fighter 5 related)

Ok I downloaded the source profile, uploaded to my memory card, and put the profile and the save on my HDD with my destination profile.

1) I had 2 controllers on and with the first controller I signed into the source (on live my console is updated) and booted up the game (left controller 2 alone)

2) I loaded the game up and loaded the sources save and tried the next part of the SPG at the main menu. I pressed the guide button on controller 2 and went to profiles (I don't get it, am I supposed to sign into anything with the second controller?) then I put it on the ground with the profiles still on the screen.

3) I picked up the first controller and signed out of the source profile and signed into the destination file (on HDD as well with no save game and it also has live and it connected and I saw friends online). Immediately after this happened I was given a message by Xbox live that said "user profiles have switched you will no longer be able to save/load any data". (Wtf is this the problem?)

4) I go into quest and I finish a match and no achievements pop up, I am using the sources data with the destination profile and still no achievements pop up..

Can someone help me with this slight problem? Or at least post an easy to use guide to figure out how to do it! Thanks in advance

Thanks to NeonImpact I found out I indeed was doing it incorrectly... well at least one part. For those of you still scratching your head here is where I screwed up.

Whenever I loaded the game at the main menu and went to pick up my second controller you press the guide button and the x button, then set the second controller down. this is the part I got right

What I didn't know was that I had to pick up the first controller again and press the A button to sign in from the second controllers dash board after than you press B on the second players controller to exit the blade and continue on with the steps I had. Just go into quest and fight 1 fight, boom 1000 points instantly after the battle.

Glad I could be of some help, turns out most of the SPG guides out on the web right now are really vague, thats why I made mine a little more in depth. Is deadrising save working with an updated xbox? If so could you upload it or provide a link to the profile?

PS. You should never get an xbox error when doing the SPG that is how you can make sure you are doing it right.
