GBA soon to be emulated on PS2 ?

An anonymous source close to PS2-Scene has shared a port of Visual Boy Advance running on the PS2. The current version runs quite slow and does not support color, pad functions, or sound yet. It is a proof-of-concept build that was coded in only three hours, though, and work is continuing.

The PS2 doesn't have the resources to emulate the GBA at a reasonable speed with reasonable accuracy. GB/GBC, NES, SNES, Genesis, Master System, Game Gear, those are all more likely to be capable. Also, am I the only one that finds it fishy that it wouldn't "support color"? That's awful strange.

Personally I'd still like to see some emulators for PS2 that emulate SNES, NES, and Genesis better than what's currently available.

The "SNES, NES, and Genesis" emulators that I use on the PS2 run with no problems to date. The SNES emulator I use was running a little slow at times but after a change it runs great.
Another thing, I will never understand why a newer more advanced Game System can not emulate an out of date system especially a handheld. There has to be some way to do it.

the ps2 isn't newer than the GBA, niether is the GBA outdated and just because the PS2 has more power, doesnt mean it has enough power to emulate the GBA, if the resources were availble to the coders, im sure that it would be possible with ease, but as the scene is at the mo, making a perfect GBA emu is a long way off, you mention snes working, but it isnt 100% perfect, and the GBA is far superior to the snes

I know this is late but I was refering to the N64 and the GBC. The XBOX has the N64, so where is the PS2 N64.
-Black Onyx DS-Lite: R4 and 1GB Kingston Micro-SD
-Wii: Currently playing Zelda: TP
-PS2: Slim v12 & DMS4Lite
-GC: Unmodded (Had every game I wanted before a worthy solution was out)
-xBOX: The only game I liked was Halo and I have that on PC
-Antiques: GBA, PS1 & Stealth Mod, N64, GBC & GB

The main reason there is a N64 emu on Xbox is that it has more ram then the PS2 not realy a speed issue. Although im sure it too plays a part I think its possible to do a better SNES emu and a good GBA emu but some games on the GBA would never work becouse I think they come close to the 32MB's the PS2 has for ram (im not sure what the biggest GBA games are but I know ive seen some that are about 14MB's) Its all realy complicated and nearly beyond what I understand about computers hahah....
