Square Enix announced Final Fantasy & FF2 to be released individually
PRESS RELEASE: RELIVE THE BIRTH OF A PHENOMENON WITH FINAL FANTASY & FINAL FANTASY II
Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces that FINAL FANTASY® and FINAL FANTASY II will be released separately in the UK and across all PAL territories in early 2008 on the PSP® (PlayStation® Portable) system.
Experience the classic gameplay, captivating storylines and unforgettable characters that gave birth to the FINAL FANTASY phenomenon. Completely re-mastered exclusively for PSP, FINAL FANTASY and FINAL FANTASY II are the definitive versions of the games that established the biggest RPG brand in the world.
These new editions feature redrawn graphics and character art, exclusive all-new dungeons, full 16:9 widescreen visuals and an updated camera view that gives players a new perspective on these two timeless classics that defined the RPG genre.
John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, “FINAL FANTASY and FINAL FANTASY II are the foundations of the Square Enix success story. They are the first two steps in the long and distinguished history of the FINAL FANTASY franchise. With these beautiful new versions, fans can now experience the origins of FINAL FANTASY wherever they go.”

A Final Fantasy game is always a great news. I will wait for some screens shoot, even if the square Enix never disappoints.
"Teresa of the Faint Smile"know thanks to his talent for killing without effort and with a smile. It was the strongest.A Claymore emotionless before meeting Claire and sacrifice his life for her.Teresa is killed by Priscilla,a Claymore warrior "awakened"It was the only one who could eliminate all enemy without releasing the demonic force(uses 10% of the force only to face a Priscilla 90% of the Awakening,a clear sign of his power)

How stupid is that?!
They can't fit both on a single UMD witch can carry up to 1.8 GB double sided?? They made it on psx with FF origins and honestly, the improvements between both version is very minimal.. I'm sick of all those meaningless remakes. While DS get well cared remakes using a totally new engines, PSP, who could bring the Matrix Software 3d engine way further, get crappy stuff.

They could if they wanted to.
Final Fantasy is just under 200MB and Final Fantasy 2 is just under 300MB.
