Got the 360 version yesterday. It has some pretty bad slowdowns in replays and cutscenes too... gameplay runs smooth so far. still testing different stadiums...

So is that why just about everyday I come onto this site, i see a story about a random 360 literally melting? Or about game discs having scratches on them? Get your head of of your ass, theres just as much negative news about the 360 as the PS3, the only difference between the two, is that the 360 actually has some good news. And your comment is pure fanboyism, because you completely failed to mention the fact that Nintendo receives about 1 negative article for every 50, or maybe that's just because Nintendo isn't full of a bunch of retards like Sony and Microsoft. You made the choice to go with a BD player instead of a video game console, so quit crying and go watch a movie.

the original PES on the 360 was a total dog as well, so lets not forget that it has taken 2 attempts to get it right on that console.
personally, i dont think something should be released until its ready, but if its ok in 720P then i couldnt give a stuff if it stutters at 1080P.
if it has problems in both resolutions then that would be unforgivable.

Thank you for that, I thought so, if it can be coped with, then thats fine. I mean its getting 7, 8 and 9s on PS3 so I don't see how people are saying its unplayable!!

Sonic the Hedgehog on PS3 is UNPLAYABLE!

I really don't know how ppl could belive those guys with 1 in their postcount, more than that I can't understand how maxconsole can put those threads like "first page news". Anyone can register in maxconsole forums anytime and open some shocking "false" new thread.

Yesterday an Italian friend buyed and tyed PES, he was really worried about those slowdowns, and he told me: "really, there is some small slowdown, but you have to look for it, I wouldn't even noticed it, if I wasn't trying to "cause" it."

SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH.. :P

Just got my copy through the post from game this morning. Can confirm that all this awful slowdown n judder in game is complete bs.

I know my post count is low but i can't bare to get involved in all the fanboy bs, and this quite patently is. Yes replays and cut scenes do suffer, but actual game play is just as smooth as fifa.

after reading all this negative press I was absolutely crapping myself having pre-ordered mine sometime ago. Having played it i'm very relieved! No true pro fan will be disappointed with this imho.

Bring on the option file for full kits!

I've got both Fifa and PES for the 360. PES has horribble replays, juddering constantly. And to be honest I think FIFA is the much better game this year, especially playing a full game with 'Be A Pro' camera. Konami have to pull something out next year because I can see FIFA consistantly becoming the better game, not that the PES fanboys would admit it.

I have both fifa and pes on my 360, neither strikes me as particularly great this year.

I won't get any hands on time with pes on the ps3 until the weekend but I certainly hope the lag only affects the replays and cutscenes, any lag during game will render it unplayable (ala xbox live with PES6)

PES has been my favourite football game on whatever system I have played it - I just hope konami haven't completely knackered the franchise by releasing a shoddy version (although doesn't seem to do EA any harm year after year?)

I've got the PS3 version last Tuesday, and I agree with the topic starter. It's hard to believe but the frame rate is to low, and sometimes u will get a headache :S. I'm now playing pes2008 on a old TV, and if i play pes2008 on mine new monitor (samsung 226bw) on 720p i don't have the slow frame rate bug.. So i don't know what the problem is
