nandTool (by cory1492) on PSP slim!
Now P$P Slim Unbricking will be much easier with the release of Universal Unbricker V3.. Now you can see the screen so no more button press guessing!
with the use of Dark_Alex 's SW i just edit it's elf to boot into UPNand Tool 64 (cory149 tool)
Now making a back up and rewriting IdStorage will no longer a PITA.
we can now see what we are doing!
Many thanks to D_A,Math,Cory149 and especially my bestfriend Squirrel61!
I had used this tool "blindly" and restored/unbricked 3 Full Bricked Slim!
Happy Unbricking!
I think this will be the start of running Homebrew apps on P$P Slim!
For a much more Stable version of UPnand Tool please go to Cory's Blog. Cory's Site!
PLEASE READ ALL THE WARNINGS AND PROCEDURES!

Well that's unexpected but great news Royginald, thanks (though now I have to wonder if other 1.50 homebrew would be possible already).

Thanks Royginald for reporting and Dark_AleX for making this possible! I was already suspecting this could be done from the very moment Cemetery V3 was released, but didn't have the time to try it myself so you beat me by a few hours or so.
We "old school" unbrickers now know what to do to unbrick a PSP that has been messed by writing to flash
Thanks again Cory for making your invaluable tool suited for the slim! Although you intended it for experimenting with 64Mb nands on the PSP-1000 (which turned out pretty useless but nonetheless very entertaining and educative), it seems you created the ultimate unbricking tool for the slim even before the slim was released!

Dark_AleX said there where a few minor issues to be solved. So I don't expect to be able to run 1.50 homebrew right away. However, it might be nice to try the extended Pandora menu 0.84 on the Cemetery V3.
[EDIT] Tried a quick mod of extended Pandora 0.84 by overwriting the PRXs in the kd folder with that of Cemetery V3 and hand editing the btcnf files to add hibari.prx. The stick starts booting and actually turns the backlight on, but then auto powers off. I guess there's too much 3.40 and 3.71 in the kd folder. Maybe it can be made to work by selectively the 0.84 PRXs with Cemetery V3 PRXs but I don't have a clue to which can be replaced and which shouldn't.

Congrats Royginald! You made it to the frontpage including the pic of your slim and your hand!
To the people who are wondering what this fuzz is all about since "we already have Cemetery V3 with full display": Royginald's making use of Cemetery V3 but added Cory149's upNandTool (64M version) to it. This enables us to unbrick slims that can't be unbricked by the sole use of any Pandora/Cemetery stick. This kind of bricks seem to happen when you use USB flash writing through 3.71 M33-2. Because of Sony's nice tricks, use of USB flash writing (all four flash sections) will mess up your nand's partition table and Pandora/Cemetery can't recover that, leaving you with a full brick. Until now.

hehehe Maybe the Admin/Mod knows the real importance of re-wrting your OWN Idstorage!
But still read Squirrel61 WARNING! Always/Immediately make your own back up for further use of it!
Happy Unbricking!

I bet they do, unlike many other users who start playing with something they don't understand/comprehend!
