Looks real enough to me. But there isn't anything that special about it if we don't know what's behind the pic. Is it a flashcart launcher? Is it a Wireless launcher ( lol ) or what? It does say Flash launcher, but onw hat is it running? What Cart?

Seems fake.

The fact that itīs the same game gives it away. I probably is 2 pictures that is displayed on different DS:es. Why donīt they show different gameīs on each picture, relase a video or something more trustworthy?

I hope however that im wrong, god only knows how much i would like a NDS loader. Go go to the group/person that releases an DS rom loader first.

One thing makes me suspicious. Look at the left bottom corner near the thumb of the guy where the shadow of the thumb is casted on the DS but not on the screen. But it also could be a simple JPEG filtered with some scanlines and converted and thrown on the DS. Also the scanlines dont look very real for me.

found this somewhere.... you can see it on your own DS according to the nfo where I found it. As far as I know that particular picture from the main news is phony (I recall seeing that particular pic displaying a real NDS screen for subpixel font demo over at gbadev wrather than the overbright/too clear one pictured), but I dont know about any of the others as SMT could very well be working on a loader, but whether the final one will be internal or not is another story entirely.

edit:/ I just hex edited the attachment and removed the ndsmall 1.0 loader off the beginning, loads perfect in Dualis as it is only 2 jpeg or similar images (one for each screen) so prooving that a phony would not be all that tough to do on even real hardware.

Attached Files
File Type: rar load.nds.rar (56.2 KB, 60 views)

One of the pictures looks pretty real due to the lighting conditions. However just because the picture is on a real screen, doesn't mean it does what people think it does. Anyone could write that with enough time, as all we see is a static image displayed on the DS. That's not hard to do.

The original picture was fake.
The bluring wasnt right, the thumb shadow wasnt there due to the lighting effect to get the backlight to shine through, the edges weren't cropped enough and the corners werent rounded.
The 2nd picture is real. This is because once everyone started rumouring its authenticity, they put the pictures in an nds file, and took a photo of that. But the program is 100% fake, or unreleased as of now.

Oh, and I tested it myself, I personally can confirm that its just 2 pictures. That, or i have games I never knew I had.

no disrespect but because u have the file with the pictures u can verify its fake? i never jump to conclusions because thats when things turn ugly. if its fake it will be proven and if its real, well it will be proven. only time will tell and anybody that was around for the first xbox chip by enigmah that had the video of them booting games knows that nothing is as it seems because everyone knew it was fake and everyone that knew it was fake bought it.

I wouldn't mind it being fake so long as it lets me load software for the NDS. Really it's too early to know anything definite. Like you said, in time we will haev a better idea.
