McFly to launch Pokemon Diamond & Pearl
PRESS RELASE: MCFLY LAUNCH POKÉMON DIAMOND & PEARL!
The moment Pokémon fans have been waiting for has arrived and for 200 lucky fans it’s about to get even better! They will not only be able to get their hands on a prized copy of Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl a day early, but chart topping sensation McFly will also be making a special appearance!
Following the most successful launch of any Pokémon title in Japan ever, and with over one million games flying off the shelves in the first week of launch in the US, the ultimate Pokémon adventure, Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, arrives in the UK a day early at Hamleys Regent Street, London at 6pm on Thursday 26th July!
Come and join the fun as McFly exclusively launch this brand new Pokémon adventure at the GAME concession in Hamleys, greeting a few fans along the way. To avoid disappointment and to gain entry into this limited pre-sale event, fans will need to pre-order their copy of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl now at GAME in Hamleys (020 7287 5486) or GAME, Oxford St* (020 7637 7911) to be able to rub shoulders with Dougie, Tom, Danny and Harry.
In Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, fans assume the role of a Pokémon trainer on the beautiful island of Sinnoh where they soon encounter the Pokémon obsessed Professor Rowan. The professor’s mission is to document all the species of Pokémon using his special Pokédex and he needs all the help he can get, so enlists players to lend a hand. Leaving their hometown of Twinleaf and travelling around Sinnoh, players must also work towards the ultimate goal of becoming Pokémon League Champion while doing this. This prestigious honour is only bestowed upon players who have battled and defeated all eight Pokémon Gym leaders they have met along the way.
With brand new features never seen before in a Pokémon game, players can also expect to meet over 100 new Pokémon, experience sharing and battling prized Pokémon with friends online, as well as the opportunity to chat with them anywhere in the world through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
So register at GAME today to make sure you don’t miss the most exciting Pokémon launch of the year at GAME in Hamleys, Regent Street on Thursday 26th July 2007 at 6pm!
