Fairplay to Nintendo, they really do know how to make the most of their own hardware when it comes to first party titles.
Graphically this looks stunning for the DS! Not quite as good as, but definitely approaching wind waker visuals especially during the cutscenes. Dungeons ain't looking so hot, but the gameplay looks like it should make up for it.
I played the Japanese version for about an hour and it took that amount of time to get used to the most of the controls. Probably five hours in it will be like second nature. I'm still practicing the roll. The FAQ says to do a zigzag motion, but that doesn't work all the time. It's hard to roll Link at trees sometimes.
I could see it getting difficult if there are narrow platforms later on the in the game.
The only thing I don't like about it is that you're covering the screen so much with the stylus control that you miss out on the pretty graphics. :-) I do wish they had alternate D-pad controls. My hand gets tired after awhile. The only thing the D-pad does now is move the map screen down to the lower screen, which is kind of pointless anyway.
If you think that the minish cap and twilight princess was **** then you don't know ****!
I really liked the majora's mask game... this kind of time travel things, with connections everywhere ( many hcaracters to interact ) is far more awsome than linear scripts . minish cap IS amazing... is freaking awesome really.
