Brakken's First LED MOD

Starting with something basic I did the LED mod using the method from www.duey2k.com. I put two LED in the FAN also, but faced them the wrong way as I was under the impression they are omni-directional and was wrong so I didn't take a picture of my mistake. I'll face them the right way when I add my next two things to the Cube: EL Wire and Two Plasma Liquid Cold Cathododes.

Looks awesome!

I'm also going to do the same thing, but I am going to install a flip switch so that I can turn the LEDS off while the gamecube is on if I want to.

I learned this when I did my xbox's controller ports and lit up the jewel. It got annoying to always have the leds on when I was playing/wwatching a movie with it at night. So I just installed a simple on/off switch and mounted it in the back.

Especially when you light the controller ports on the xbox, because you have the leds pointing straight out.

Normal green led nothing special. I don't mind having them on all the time as the Cube is not in the line of sigh of my PC monitor and/or TV.

Looks good. Just one question: is the 4th controller port brighter than the rest or is it just the angle? Maybe if you posted a pic of it straight on it would be easier to tell.
