Zelda DS - Almost a perfect ten in Japan, second highest Zelda rating

Three out of Famitsu's games review team awarded Zelda: Phantom Hourglass TOP MARKS, with just one of them seeing it fitting a 9 as oppposed to a ten. Therefore the game totalled a score of 39/40, the highest scoring Zelda title just behind Gamecube's Wind Waker.

Ha ha ha, if this scored just as good as Wind Waker, then I will be passing this up too because WW was terrible.

Jsut depends how you look at it ...WW on my POV was splendid, but sure that maybe shooted some heads were waiting a "realistic" zelda , sicne OoT. Whaveter. But this one looks cool.

Haha you are so pissed. There are often perfect ratings on Famitsu? OMG STFU You don't have any idea what you are talking about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Famitsu there are only 6 games which got perfect rating for now.

Actually WW has a better rating than PH. WW is one of the 6 perfect-rated Famitsu games. I agree with them . Actually Twilight Princess isn't even nearly-perfect and they're right . It was epic and great, but not perfect .
1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo, for Nintendo 64)
2. Soul Calibur (Namco, for Dreamcast)
3. Vagrant Story (Square Co., Ltd., for PlayStation)
4. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Nintendo, for Nintendo GameCube)
5. Nintendogs (Nintendo, for Nintendo DS)
6. Final Fantasy XII (Square Enix, for PlayStation 2)

wow, this 'must' be great as it scored a whole 2/8 higher than the PS3 game Gundam - Target in Sight. Kind of puts things in perspective as that got 8/10. Famitsu smoke something weird.

cant belive this happen nowadays... i thought we left ignorant wind waker haters when the game was released... but i see this "realistic" players didnt even get the chance to play it.

wind waker imo its far better than twilight...and i love twilight.

I think the ones who hated, were the ones that started to play Zelda on OoT ... but the majority of mature users, were alreading expenctign a change ond design, and story telling as happened on Zelda II, or the Minish cap.

Besides the stupid triforce hunting stuff, Wind Waker was a great game. I really liked the graphic style. Can't wait until Phantom Hourglass comes out in English.
