pSX Emu GameSaves to PSX Mem Card (Possible using uLe/HDLoader?)

I'm using uLe and have HDLoader on my HDD right now.

I've tried using several Memorycard conversion tools to convert the .mcr file to something the ps1 memory card recognizes as a save.

I've used the ARMax USB Drive to transfer my converted files to the memory card through the uLe interface but no such luck.

For the record: I started playing FF9 on the pSX Emulator and am about 6 hours into the game when I realized I could burn a backup and play it on my ps2, which I did.. but I don't wanna start over again. Any Ideas?

i'm booting the backup on my ps2 via swap tool, and my question is this:

is there a program or method that can covert my pSX v1.11 emulator gamesave (let's call it "ff9.mc") to the correct format for a PSOne Memory card to read?
