Better later than never - Reputable Swedish Magazine Confirms MGS 4 for Xbox 360?

A poster at the official Xbox forums has stated that the Swedish games magazine 'Super Play' has confirmed that that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be heading to the Xbox 360 at the end of 2008, in what seems to be a year later than the proposed PS3 version. To make up for this delay, the game will come with VR missions and other bonus features. Super Play was said to be the first magazine to heave real Halo 3 footage and was the original source who confirmed that VF5 was heading to the Xbox 360.

However, sole owners of Wii and Xbox 360 would have to do without it. Fortunately, Konami isn´t completely blind to the fact that more gamers deserve to play this epic title, and it is now confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the Xbox 360 will launch a year later in November 2008. Why are you soo angry? This is the same thing that happened to Mercenaries and expect to see some if not little 3rd party exclusives for PS3. And this is news so STFU. Why don't you go find some anti-xbox 360 news on the internet that maxconsole hasn't posted. Then after that find anti-PS3 news and you'll find out why he has posts like this. Look at things from his perspective!

Another thing if this is such late breaking news why does it say due to be released at the end of 2007 when its been confirmed at least March 2008 release.

Ya I did the same. There is a news article from like January which I already said where they supposedly confirmed it but it has since been debunked. I'm sure this would be headlining their site.

Even if this was true nobody is anticipating Metal Gear Solid before agleast Q1 of 2008. So if this game was a hit, which it's hyped to be, the fanbase will have already boughten the game for ps3. By 2009 it will be a little too late and Konami will have already announced their next title, Metal Gear Solid Versus 4 .

Good point -- if the cross-platform release isn't out w/in 6 months of the original, then publishers won't release it at all.
