Multi-NDS Loader - RELEASED!

This utility will alow you to load multiple NDS files onto a single GBA flashcard for use with the Nintendo DS.

Hmm i have a flash cart and a DS, and modding experience..
Ive been thinking about doing it to mine, but i have no idea what sort of homebrew etc you could run..

I know about the calculator app, cant say itd be very useful to me though

Ya might ne alittle early to be jumoing on the DS moding scene. Definatly progress is being made though!

How big are acctually the original "cards" for Nintendo DS? want a flash cart, which is atleast double the size.. :P

As far as i know DS carts are 1Gb in size.
The latest flash carts are of that size too.

Wrong. The GBA port can only address 256mbit/32mbytes. Accessing larger than that requires special ROM banking. Flash Carts do just that when initializing a game, but never during a game. NDS Cards can likely address alot more, infact I remember hearing numbers like up to 1GB, which couldb e bits, meaning it'd be 4 times larger than the GBA address space. That wouldn't be so bad though, if the game were somehow hacked to bank the rom in game somehow. Really if any games exceeds 32mbytes you won't likely be playing it off a GBA cart.

Ahhh , so they're using the rom banking trick they used when NES games were too big for the ROMS in the old NES carts, interesting...

Does anyone know if the Multi-NDSLoader needs the passme device? Or can it boot nds code on its own?
