First off, the 360 will most likely NOT be watercooled. I have a water cooled system, and use only deionized and distilled water along with water wetter (products that prevent rust) and you still need to change the water about every 9 to 10 months to prevent rust. They wouldn't put that in your xbox cuz you'd have to open it every so often and change the water!

Second, that was actually a very good ploy to make us think pictures were being leaked... OURCOLONY.NET = MICROSOFT!! Very cleaver. I also like how they snapped pics of the controller and stuff with terrible quality cameras to make it look like some naughty employees with pen cameras . I give J a big awesome for tricking us.

And finally, the MTV reveal was TERRIBLE! It was all like... "Here's 5 minutes of the killers...Now here's a pic of the 360 *FLASH*. Did ya.. did ya miss it!? Here it is again! *FLASH*. NO MORE PICS FOR YOU. Now, a homosexual and time consuming clip of what the pimp my ride team did to the original xbox! OH BOY! YOU CAN SURE AS HELL ENHANCE YOUR XBOX PREFOMANCE WITH PAINT! Now, some game grafics from Perfect Dark Zero *FLASH*. You miss it? TOO FUCKIN BAD!... More killers and filler because we're cocky fucks that are just giving MTV ratings as you watch our crappy ****!"

As you can see, it was very bad....

Could you explain to me a system that DOESN'T need a pump and which the water DOESN'T need to be changed?!? It doesn't even seem possible. The water would just sit and get hot...

Sorry if I sounded condescending when I said you were way off base, lol. After readin it, it sounded like I was being a smart ass but I wasn't meaning to. Now here is more info on the "water cooling" for XboX 360 and how it is not like a normal "Water cooling" system:

Quote:
We had a couple people, after reading our Xbox 360 article, comment on Microsoft’s statements that the Xbox 360 was “water cooled.” While this might be technically true, it carries a very heavy marketing spin in order to glom onto an enthusiast technology. To be succinct, the Xbox 360 is not water cooled in the way we, meaning just about every computer hardware enthusiast on the planet, tend to think of water cooling. The Xbox 360 motherboard we were shown did have a CPU heatsink in place that utilized a heatpipe. Yes, a heatpipe does have liquid in it and some H2O as well, but is usually primarily ammonia. In a heatpipe, the liquid at the “hot” end vaporizes, and is moved to the “cold” end of the heatpipe by a pressure differential and convection. Once the heat is transferred to the fins in the cold end, the substance condenses and the process repeats. The CPU cooler we saw on the Xbox 360 processor looked very much like this CPU cooler seen at Plycon except the Xbox 360 cooler was taller than wider and only utilized one copper heatpipe tube.

Oh! That's usually called a HDPS or Heat Dissipation Pipe System. I'm not sure if they're the same thing, but I believe this is also the same thing/called phase change? Can someone verify this to me?
