Very bright - did you just replace the LED or the resistor as well?

No, I have only changed the LED with one White ultra-bright LED.

Looks good! I was going to do the back too, but I ran out of led's . As for the fan, I just added an led. It was very simple and I'll give you a little info about how I did it. If you've got a 5mm LED of whatever color you want it to be, that's great, because you're going to use it here. Take out the fan assembly and look at the back of where the fan mounts (the sort of funnel part). You should see a little circle on the back .That's where the plastic was injected into the mold i think. Find a drill bit about that size and drill out that hole completely. This works great as a placement for an LED because not only is it the right size, it's centered. Just put the LED in there, use some hot glue if you want, and wire it up. This tucks the actual led behind the fan's center so you get a sort of diffused glow. If you don't believe me, just check mine .

Also, this is much easier because it is very hard to find a company that makes a fan that will fit here. I only found 1 50mm fan, and I had to drill it and cut it and do a bunch of modding just to get it to fit, and it still looked like crap.

Very tidy Jacksoft!

I was thinking of doing this to my platinum cube too, blue lights that is. I wanted a blue LED where you have the white one and blue ones behind the controller ports and I was gonna drill the holes out so you could see the dots.

Can you please explain how you did it? Did you just drill the holes out?

thanks!

Also, the blue fan looks good too ROFL!

Thanks. I don't want to take the glory from Jacksoft, but I can tell you what I did for my controller ports.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...cube/Front.jpg

All you do is remove the metal tab above and below the controller port. It sort of sticks in to grab the controller, but the top and bottom ones serve no purpose. Then you mount them at about a 45 degree angle so they're half pointing down, half pointing forward. And hot glue. For the bottom, its the same, half pointing up, half pointing forward. The way I got the holes for the number controller port to light up was actually with the same led as the top of each controller port. They were so bright, I just decided to drill out the holes and add some hot glue behind the dots to diffuse light evenly throughout the holes. That's about it.

Actually, the bottom led's are SO bright, they shine a little glow on the front of the led ports. It actually was an unexpected result, but hey, it looks cool anyway doesn't it .
