There is only 1 actual commercial rom available, and that is the metroid demo. There is a rom for supermario 64 but its fake. AFAIK, none of the methods using passme work yet, but the neoflash may. The homebrew games will work with any of the known methods.

Well there are vids of it working, I would love to see some serious info about this. Anyone have any links where I can get info about getting commercial roms to work with any of the combos?

there is actually 3 game rips on the web. Metroid Prime Demo, Super Mario 64, and the Polarium demo.

Full list, of games and the rippers here:
http://www.64scener.com/ds/ds-scene.xml'

None of the ones on that list are fake.

Ya, but you need to modify the firmware. I want a hard solution like the passme method. I just need more info about it.

PS Anyone know of any good newsgroups for ds stuff?

I've been going here a lot. I know, it's a gba forum, but they have a ton of ds stuff -- about 500 or so threads now on development.

I didn't see anything there showing how to play Super Mario 64 DS or the Metroid Hunters demo. I've not seen anything anywhere about running real commercial games, or dumping images.

simple answer, you cant.
the demos polarium and meteos run becasue they are small and load into the ds ram.
big roms like metroid and mario wouldnt fit. they would need to be constantly streamed whilst playing.

NeoFlash actually, does run games now. Supposively the already hacked DS Rom releases will run with the passme or firmwire hack if you flash the rom to a gba flash cart.

Do you have a link to where you found this out?
