If you search for post(s) by this poster you will find many flaming threads and this one borderlines on flaming if you take in account his other articles; sadly this isn't 100% flame or I would delete the b*tch.

Please do not respond to this comment 'justinkb' or anyone else as it's offtopic and we need to stay on the topic at hand and also please do not respond to 'justinkb's' post as he is lamer material and just wants to cause problems.

As for the case I am impressed and hope because that it has both a 25pin and USB connector that you could possibly use both the Viper and the Qoob together in the same unit.

Sadly I was hoping that the USB/Serial ports would of been for some sort of IDE interface, but I guess you can't have everything you wish for.

Hopefully they get the final design soon so we can see this case in all it's glory (or lack of).

Of course look for an official review on the PhantomX Online Network when I recieve (or purchase) a sample for testing and review purposes.

Regards,
brakken

Hate to say it brakken, but you are a big hypocrit. You ***** about the gamecubecase.com cases, but won't let others speak their own thoughts about this? You're starting to sound like one of those ps2w@ankers. I don't want to start trouble or anything, but I think others are right when they say you only ***** about gamecubecase.com because they are linked to ps2nfo. After all, isn't this supposed to be better than ps2nfo, where we're actually allowed to speak our minds. As for me, I think these look excelent. I just busted on my monitor. I suggested the 25 pin thing for the viper (might not have been the only one) and am very excited. Can't wait till its out.

P.S: Xecuter, feel free to lemme sample your product. After all my last name is sample. Dead serious.

Agreed, most of justinb's posts are infact stupid and annoying, but most of them don't break any rules. He is just stating his oppinion, granted in an annoying way, but he is entitled to do that, as long as he doesn't brake any rules, just ignore it and let him be.

ROFLMyWaffle, you can't compare this board with ps2sucks. If what you're saying is true, you've already been banned here. ps2sucks bans people for no reasons, or for saying anything they don't like, or posting any info for their rivals. Have you seen brakken ban people like that?

A good forum should have rules and should keep flamers & trouble makers away from it. Consolejunky is clearly a flamer here. If he is posting the **** in other forums, I'm sure he is already been banned. A good forum doesn't mean you can speak whatever you want (like flaming). In fact, I think the rules here are too lose. That's why we've so such flame & hate post recently.

Okay I don't think any you got my point. JustinKB ALWAYS tries to start **** with people. He wasn't stating his opinion he was only stating crap to piss other people off. If someone else other then JustinKB would of posted that I would of not had a problem with it, but he has been posting provoking remarks in most of the posts that I do make. So you cleary see I am justified in my actions and if this was ps2banz I would of deleted his account by now.

This could turn into a great thread, but we need to stay clear of flaming and abuse.

Please see the below thread if you have any problems with this and reply to them here (any more offtopic relplies in this thread relating to this subject will be deleted). I am dead stuck on keeping this thread topic related.

Brakken and MaxConsole GameCube Forum Rules

http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthr...&threadid=5617

I'm not taking Xecuter's side, but they do have a great track record as GameCubeCase had a bad track record. What I mean is if someone was known for making crap quality products one would think that any new products would be crap too and if one makes good quality products then any new ones would be good; of course this is only speculation as I could be wrong.

If I get the Xecuter case and it has flaws trust me I will not hesitate to write about them.

Now please guys (and gals) lets stay on topic! Since Xecuter knows about my posts now maybe we can get their attention here!

What color(s) would you want created other then the original console colors?

Personally I would like a transparent case that fades from white to blue!

before you people drool all over the case, you should realize billions of people have had problems using the ViperGC programmer with parallel cables. do a search on the ViperGC forum in case you don't remember. with this 'nice little connector' it's not possible to directly connect it to your comp's parallel port, especially considering its moronic placing.

furthermore, all you've seen from Xecuter is halfassed lightwave renders. and let's be realistic here, how much does it really matter how the back or bottom of your gamecube looks. it's not like you see it all the time. this is a top and bottom, whoopie, only advantages is colours would match better, but guess what, my replacement top matches my bottom 100%.

there's nothing interesting this case can offer me that i don't already have now i replaced my original gamecube cover with the gamecubecase.com one. and that's my opinion, are you gonna cry about it again because you feel differently, brakken?

First, I don't have any problem using my 9 feet 25 pin cable to flash the Viper. In fact, most people having problem with the cable is because they're not using 25pin straight cable. Many 25 pin cables are made for the RS232 serial port and they don't have all 25 wires connecting each pin. As long as you get yourself a right cable, it will work.

I do care how the case look, including top, bottom and the back. The connector at the back is a nice touch. Now, I don't have to connect and disconnect the programmer each time I flash a new bios. Afterall, it's my money and why not invest in something that satisfy me. The GameCubeCase is just not my cup of tea.

dude, there's even a post right now on the first page of the ViperGC forum about someone having problems with it. yes, using the right type of cable. why deny it?
