Good media?

Hey dudes,

I don't know if there is a thread about this but I'm at work so have to do it quick

I'm gonna install a wiikey next monday and I was thinking about which dvd's I should use. I have Philips DVD+R 4.7Gb 16x dvd's.
Check this link for more info: http://opus.nl/produkten_detail.asp?l=eng&pdid=5994
Are these any good for burning backups? If not, what brand should i get?

Greetz, ByteWorkz

Burn it nice and slow and see how it goes. I haven't had any problems with Phillips before but then again, I haven't tried it in my Wii yet. I suggest 4x. If you do need to get other media, I have had total success with Verbatim DVD+Rs so far.

I started off using Imitation disks whch are rated at 16x but they were hit and miss for me. Now using blue top TDK and are working like a charm, even at 16x!

I've burned 25+ Verbatium 16x discs (at 8x) with 100% success....even when I have a lot of stuff going on during burning...including extensive hard drive use...

DVD drive is a Sony DW-Q58A
