cyclowiz switch

where should i put this switch, is it needed or can i update cyclowiz without it?

I just tied the two wires together... did the update (untied, retied, etc...) then cut the ends off and stuck them in my Wii for a later date.

push switches arent recommended, toggle switches should be used.
