Third Party review on Cyclowiz with v3.0 Upgrade

Crumpster has posted up a review on the Cyclowiz following the release of the v3.0 software upgrade. You can read his review at charter.net. The positives include 100% compatibility and direct boot of NTSC/PAL titles without the need for a patch. The only negative he has jotted down is that they left fans waiting too long. You can buy the CycloWiz from Divineo.cn / Divineo.com / Modchipstore.com / Germany / Spain or Italy.

Negative Points

Not a single thing, except they kept us waiting forever =) Nah, the chip is great after the update, all games from your region work and thats what was promised. I'm a satisfied customer at this point.

The modchip does what its supposed to do and thats play backups from your own region. If you are desperate to get a 1st gen modchip then go ahead and get the cyclowiz otherwise wait and see what happens with the wiikey/etc.
Would anyone like to add anything more or less?

What is the story with imports, now? I had thought the Cyclowiz was supposed to enable import (Wii) playability but I guess that's not the case.

Still waiting until this all-important feature is available. By "import" I mean Japanese Wii game -> US Wii.

I don't like how under "Negative Points", the author said "Not a single thing, except they kept us waiting forever =)"

He forgot to list this as a negative:
"I also got the defective chip and had to do the tutorial here to make it working."

The fact that it was defective upon arrival should be a negative point.

mod was not defective, just flawed and the fix was easy. I had to make the correction on over 50 mods I received, took me about 30 min with a dremel tool.

I updated the review to address a few people complaints and test this weeks released games. It still stands that the cyclowiz has 0 negative points in my opinion. (After the 3.0 upgrade that is).

Xbox 360 Premium (BANNED on 11/12/08! w/ Xtreme 5.3A)

Handhelds:
iPhone v2.1 - Jailbreaked.
PSP v4.01 M33-2 (4GB + 1GB PRO DUO)
DS Lite (Flashme V8A, SC mini-SD 1GB)

Last Gen:
Xbox v1.4 (Xecuter 2.3b)
PS2 v5 (X0-2 No-Swap)
Gamecube DOL-101 (Qoob Pro)

PC:
