Fuses on non-drive half of console

OK, my wii still not working, but im pretty sure i've only blown a fuse - I've bypassed the two visible ones on the drive pcb, still no joy, so just wondering if anyone has experiance of dismantling the other half of the console - I don't want to strip it and be unable to get it back together - anyone even know if there are fuses there - or are the wee ones with "z" on them the only type on the wii?

Hi, I have the same problem, a non working Wii after shorting the Cyclowiz upgrade wires to ground.

Just remove all the screws you can find and make a note where the two different screw lengths are used, and you're set.

All of the markings on the motherboard starting with Fxxxx or FILxxx are fuses. I've gone through them all and none of them were bad, starting to think it's something wrong with one of the ic's.

I still have no idea what component is defect. I think I'm just going to sell the DVD drive and all of the other working parts, and buy a new Wii with that money.
