Cyclowiz LED Stays on but The Chip Doesn't Work

After some problems with the upgrade, my cyclowiz stopped working. My Wii works fine, but I can't play backups. The LED on the Cyclowiz stays green. However, when I insert a disc, it turns off and then on and stays on. But backups won't work. Anyone else have this problem?

Somewhat like my problem. There seems to be about 3 or so people who have this problem at the moment, yet no one seems to know an answer to it.

I'm hoping someone will be able to find a solution to this..

Is the LED supposed to turn off when you eject/insert a disc?

Mine does. Green on startup, then black for a short time when accessing the drive, then green again.

Same behaviour before and after the update... and everything works fine.

Sure that you dont have any bridges?

Yep, I checked everything. I'm going to try to resolder it and see how it goes.

WOOT!
I got it working. I think this was due to a bad flash or something. Anyway, I turned the upgrade switch on, then off, and the chip was flashing. Then I pressed reset and then I shutdown the wii and now it works again!
