Help, what've I done?, not working wii

Installed my upgrade switch today, all went well, I upgraded and tested it with Elebits, all before I had reeassembled the Wii, was working perfectly, I then put it back together but now it won't power on properly - light is red, doesn't respond to remote at all, if i press the power button on the console it goes green but does not display anything onscreen, the drive will accept and eject discs but does not spin them at all.

Please help guys!

Kev

Just took it apart for a look at fuses - all visible ones look fine, but I noticed that one of my switch wires got chewed a little when closing up and the wire is visible - could this have blown another fuse somewhere?

This happened to me but I don't know how I fixed it. I took it apart and carefully put everything back together, so just try re assembling it from the dvd drive. Sorry, can't tell what caused it in the first place. Oh, and try turning it on while the case is off as well.

a loose wire that catches onto a ground source could fry a fuse definately

The fuses on the drive side look fine and I really don't think the problem is comign from there, are there any fuses that I can get to on the other side of the opened console?
