Hey has anyone had any trouble ordering from www.aheadgames.com. I orderd my case last sunday and it is still in queue on their site and they havn't responded to any of my emails. I can't install my new qoob untill the case gets here because its coming with the gamebit.

I have never bought anything from them, but if you really want to install your Qoob, I suggest you try the BIC Pen method to open up your gamecube, as it works great.

Yeah i tried the bic method. Got one screw out but the rest are all stuck in too tight. They said on their site they ship within 24 hours and they won't relpy to my emails... I knew I should have paid the extra couple of bux to add the gamebit with my qoob order. www.foundmy.com is really fast they sent my qoob out the next day. Too bad they don't have the case replacments in stock yet.

When you go to unscrew the screws, make sure you push downward very hard, while you get the screw loose, as it gives it a better grip.

I got my full replacement case today (black).
There was a slight problem with the case shipment as they came with normal HEX bits instead of the GAMEBIT.
Due to this fact the owner of aheadgames purchase bits out of his own pocket and took a loss just to make sure the customer (you) got the deal they ordered for.
This problem caused a delay in shipping, but like I said I got my case today. It came packed inside bubblewrap, inside a box that was inside a packing envelope. The product was not damaged and works fine.
Look for a review in my next Mod That Cube FAQ.

Make sure you run it under cold water before you actually try to use it. Just a heads up since the first time I tried it it didn't work. The next time I ran it under cold water and it works great

Looks pretty nice Is it hard to get the discs out or do they come out pretty easily?

the vipergc passthru thing has to do with the lid sensor right?
does this case make it so that your gc knows the actual state?
or is it "always closed", nullifying the passthru function?
or is this not even an issue? someone shed some light on this please

soo, my (viper)gc will know that the lid is open when it's open and that it's closed when it's closed?
how does that work exactly? there's no wiring as far as i saw, or is there?

If your talking about the Viper wires, there are some wires to let it know.

yea, but, since there's no wiring on the case, how exactly is determined if the lid is closed or not?

The thing that tells if the case is open or closed isn't on the top part of the case its a little thing inside that gets pushed back when the lid is closed, take off your lid and you will see what i mean.
