to viper or qoob ...please

in the current situation, which conpensa more to viper or qoob... forgives the errors therefore is brasil..valeus friends!

for brazilians its probably best to get a Qoob, since afaik, they support dol002 out of the box

You might want to try posting this in the general gamecube forum since this is for case modding. You might get more responses there. Is your cube a dol-002 or is it a different model? You can also try searching the forums...there's a lot of info on this topic.

Since you have a Dol-001, I would recommend the Viper, but it's really all about personal preference. Right now the Viper bios has more feature but I'm sure qoob will soon as well. Just browse around the forum. You'll find out a lot about the different features that way

Well do we know how good the qoop feats are? sure viper is catching in on the feats... but they don't work so well in my opinion... But it could be worse, the most important thing is that you can play, and viper is damn fine to play games with

What features do you have problems with? The only thing I haven't used yet is the built-in audio fix so I don't know about that. But multi-game discs and direct-boot work awesome for me

I have viper, and the unico problem is the question of the games in 2 dvd, not to function disc 2...more taste Viper...

I'm not exactly what you are saying there, but I think you are saying something about 2 disc games... Which both the Viper and the Qoob cannot play the second disc(except for the few that save at the very end of disc one).

Not really problems more than i can't play my precious snes games on the cube nor n64 games. I haven't tried 1.1 at all, but 1.0 worked pretty decent after tweaking my laser down a bit... and i the UI isn't so cute as i want it to be but i do love the fact that they did promise mp3 support in the next release which is killer!

Also i dunno about the prize for qoob but wait for some reviews in my opinion, otherwise just buy a viper

They said mp3 support in A next release, not THE next release.

I just use my ps2 for snes roms. As far as N64, I don't think it's ever going to be up to par. The list of working games is too small and there's just too many bugs in general. What would be really cool is if someone could get the GBA emu to have a save feature, otherwise it's not very useful except for some multiplayer and puzzle games, but even then your scores are not saved.
