i dont post much but posts like these REALLY aggrivate me, not everyone has the time to dedicate to a real guitar, believe me iv tried, and amongst personal life, kids and tons of college work, when things like this come along, i welcome them with open arms, these kind of "get a real guitar" posts ...are normally all over guitar hero threads aswell,

if you do play a real guitar then i respect you utmostly, its a very hard (in my eyes) instrument to play, and kudos for you for taking the much needed time to learn it

Agreed, completely; I have loads of respect for those who've spent the time to master a real guitar, as no game can replicate that skill, but not all of us have the time to do so, so posting something like that serves noone;

As far as this game, I'm totally looking toward this! (Especially given that I'm also one of those who doesn't have the time invested to learn to play a real guitar)

this game is already out in japan. albeit that it has some weird japanese songs to play to. but its there. its called hiite utaeru ds guitar.

i cant play the guitar for nuts but i love this game. but this game does require alot of skill too (my fingers cramp up playing songs with more than 8 notes, heck even the 5 notes songs get to me. you can fine tune your notes listening abilities, as it has a play a note and repeat mode. and you also have tuning mode. there are unlockables of course.

all in all its a fun game.
