I thought the swap magic was for ps2 games, cheaper to buy a secondhand ps2 ( Asda at £50 ) than invalidate your warranty.
A mate of mine said about using the swap magic on the ps3, thought he was nuts
As soon as you remove the rubber stud off the side its void as you have to peal the warrenty sticker off to get at that!
I do have a PS2 as well and have been using the swap magic method on that for awhile but thought if I could do it to this I could get rid of the console as its just taking up space.
Cant seem to get it to work right yet though without the top half of the blu-ray player intact Grrr!
