XCM Gamecube Crystal Series Update, Introducing Liquid Crystal Design

We're back! As some of you may have read earlier in the nfo file of the Cobra BIOS release for the Viper GC, the XCM Gamecube crystal series are officially Viper branded! This newfound partnership has ultimately caused some slight delays in the project and we apologize that we will not be able to release pictures this week as planned. Now for the good news, not only do our premium quality cases come branded with what is undoubtedly a premium quality brand but also due to high levels of consumer demand we have added liquid crystal colour (transparent) to our fine range. Add this design to our already vibrant range of colours available include purple (default) , black and orange and you have yourself a replacement case accustomed to everyone’s taste!

We would like to reiterate that our fine range of cases feature funky LED's for some awesome visual effects , couple the LED's with the new liquid crystal case and you will simply be amazed.

Rest assured that we will release final pictures of our brand new cases early next week, while shipping to retailers will commence at the end of next week at the latest.

Although there are no pics available at this early stage I can imagine how 1337 these new cases will be regarding that teamextender has a good reputation to make good stuff. Hope to see some pics soon and beeing able to order one of these

so am i to understand they won't have a platinum one? if not guess its time to buy the one from gamecubecase.com ;-)

was really hoping to get the xtender one but oh well lol mainly because it IS branded with the vipergc .. but anyway yeah i hope they have a platinum one and just forgot to mention

Lame. These cases are worthless to alot of people. Not everyone has a viper for booting full sized dvd's. There are many other methods/chips other then viper, and the people useing those (like me) dont want a viper branding.

Ill keep waiting for another case. Like elinksoft or gamecubecases or whatever.

any idea how much the case would cost?

I have asked a few resellers and they tell me that platinum silver is also available!

As for pricing I would assume somewhere between $24.99-29.99.

yeah, leave it to team xtender to partner with the most worthless modchip team on every platform they do so on. first xodus, now this. oh well, hopefully this thing won't be any where near as much of a disaster as the xtender was.

i hope the viper branding is descreet or optional.
the first guys messed up by forgetting the LED
and by using the wrong colour buttons.
and now this lot are branding the cases with viper logos?
i think im just going to hunt out and buy mini dvds in future

Up until now everyone who physically modded their cube will have a VIPER GC.
For sure there are other mods cropping up now , but not even the Qoob offers MORE features than the Viper GC - Anyway I expect for a lot of Viper GC owners out there they are looking to have a matching branded case to go with their mod , it makes it the 'complete package' so to speak.

I'm sure you'll agree that if you have a viper gc mod , which a lot of people do you would rather have a viper branded case then some plain sticker on a replacement case!

Id rather use the jewel that came with the original case top. Even if i did have a viper.

Now if they just include a vipergc branded jewel with this case, leaveing a option between it or the original jewel, thats cool. But selling cases with a vipergc brand on it, when theirs about 3 other mod chips, and 4 non modchip boot methods out. Thats just dumb. Thier cutting out a good chunk of their market. Yeah, alot of people use vipers, but alot of people also use the 7 other methods too.

Could be worse though i guess. Could be ps2nfo branded. =p

hopefully its the jewel which can be replaced with the nintendo ones
