Wii hacking? Need help.
So I got my Wii back at launch and have been loving it. I just found out that you could now hack it.
I just have a few questions: - Which chip is the best?
- Is it hard to install?
- What do I need to make backups?
- How do I do all of this?
Now I am not a new modder. I have been modding the xbox and xbox 360 for 3 years now.
Thanks,
Nick

1. WiiKey is looking pretty good right now, but BEST is a matter of opinion. MaxConsole seems to like CycloWiz... but it's not much better than the Wiinja. I still think that there's a lack of features so I'm gonna wait.
2. Wiinja is around 5-8 wires... looks easier than my qoob was. CycloWiz is very easy to install because it requires no wires. You set it down and basically spill some solder in the holes. I think that WiiKey is a little of both but I don't remember what the deal with the install is.
3. A modchip, a blank DVD, an ISO of an image and a program to burn it (preferably Nero 7). If you want to know how to back up an image download RawDump and run that. The only downside to that is that you need a specific DVD drive or it wont work.
4. Install the chip (most chips have instructions on their sites), make a DVD of a game, and it'll just work. There's no custom menu's or anything... it runs like normal but lets you use backups. I think that WiiKey even somehow supports multiple GC games on a disc.

you forgot one important ingredient... an original game disc...*wink* if you know what i mean... lols
... and people complain about that this mod chip is better than the other...
...all i can say to those crying babies out there... BE GLAD THAT THERE'S SOMEONE IN THIS WORLD MAKING A MOD CHIP, rather than complaining that this mod chip doesn't have this feature... bah humbug!
