Rumor: Wiinja Hex floating around?

Eme mailed in to ask for clarification on whether some HEX code supposedly from the Wiinja is real or fake. We honestly don't know and do not have the file to hand so therefore can not confirm anything. Has anyone out there seen this magical file?

I've found this hex over the internet saying it is the
HEX file for the PIC on Wiinja
Could you confirm it or it's a FAKE?

I've found it in a 1.9 Mb package including all the
instructions to install it and the rawdump.exe (don't
know the version...)

the code from the chip may be dumped, with the hex anyone can program their own wii modchip for dirt cheap with a chip programmer... so you should be able to buy a wii chip for cheap from anyone if it's dumped

could anyone use this code to make a easy loader like something where you put on the sd card and play back ups

Hope someone has it, I got a programmer, I got PIC's and I coudl give it a shoot

hmm a chip is only like £30 wouldnt it be easyier just to buy the chip then less chance off damage

Damage? Well if you program the chip a wrong way then the chip wouldn't work, simple. It won't damage the circuits of the Wii. (Or you have to do really strange stuff with the HEX and make the chip do completly different things...still then it's hard to wreck the Wii).

Just a quick question: Where you have it from? Just to make sure its from a reliable source, you know.

yea suppose maybe ish anyways im not sure to either wait and see if there is going to be a easy back up loader (something you can put on the sd card) or just pay someone to sort it out for me just that well im not the best soilderer

Hmm interesting, when you load it as a PIC12C509 code it says as the first line

"NintendoUK"

and on the end it says:

"CAPULLOSOS LO HABEIS CREIDO SALUDOS DE WILCD"
"SOYS UNOS CAPULLOS Y NO VIS A CONSEGUIR EL CODIGO JAMAS"

Wilcd is member here and seems to be from Team Ninja.
