External Modchip install

here are some Pics what i did, well i decided to install it outside of my Wii because i use it not only for my modchip and i think its easier to update/removed it. Also i am building a upgradeble chip via LPT Port so that was the only Solution that came to my mind.

Sorry u cant see the PIC+Socket which is connected to the connector u see at the back of the Wii.

Maybe somebody is interested so i decided to post that here.

So i presume you developed your own hex code for your PIC?

Btw, why can't you show the PIC you're using?

Neat.

You may have to make your own hole, though, if Nintendo comes out with something cool to use through the USB.

@Loco001: I think he wanted to know if you wrote the code for your PIC by your own, or if you took an existing hex for it.
And I guess you took the 12F629, right ?

There is no existing Hex for it...and dumping from a PIC is in no way easier then code this chip.

And for the PIC, yes u can use that one....but its not the only way to do it.
