As the subject reads... Anyone installed and using a modchip on thier Wii yet?

I logged in my Cyclowix account. It says they have 128 in stock and they mine should ship on 2/10/07. 9 days ain't to bad I guess. Ordered a LG DVD-Rom for the Wii last night as well.

I really wouldn't recommend ordering from cyclowiz.com, they appear to not be an official reseller even tho they claim to be, it's probably just 1 guy who is ordering a bunch at bulk price from a real reseller and just reselling, which would explain why the ship date is so far away. The chip should ship to resellers tomorrow or monday the latest, so there is no reason why it would take 9 days for him to get stock, unless he wasn't an official reseller. I ordered from modchipman and I expect it to ship no later than next friday to me.

I am not arguing reputability either modchipman or cyclowiz here.. I actually ordered from cyclowiz.. which has an ETA.. modchipman says that you need to check the team's website(which is just a logo right now) for an ETA. So.. until any of us have chips in hand.. I don't think we really know anything.

As an aside.. I just received an email from cyclowiz asking me to verify that I received confirmation from paypal and cyclowiz, and that if I did not receive confirmation from cyclowiz that I need to let them know to secure my order(I did in fact receive both confirmations). This leads me to believe they identified an ordering problem on their side and are trying to rectify it before they dissapoint customers.

I received the same notice, their code for taking orders must have malfunctioned like you say.. It might be a middle man, but either way we should be getting our chips, I highly doubt they would try to rectify anything if they were being shady.

were did you see an estimated ship date as i dont see one at all on my order...

hmm front page of cyclowiz now says

Hope my order (which i ordered before the front page said this) was actually for the first batch, as it appears they are updating the HTML based "inventory" by hand...
