Yes mate it is the first notice i had for this modchip. It seems that it comes from the Spanish creators of NinjaDS flashcard for NintendoDS.

Yeah, a drive firmware hack would obviously be better but this is, if real, is good news

Its almost confirmed but i think we need to wait until february 1st

I have a question regarding that video. The system date shows 17-12 yet the Wii News channel icon looks like it has been updated which only happened today. Mine had a different icon until today. Now it matches the one in the movie.

Was the European place holder icon different than the North American?
