XBOX 360 looks VERY promising!

Xbox 2, now called XBOX 360 looks VERY promising.
GameSpy gets the goods on the XBOX 360 and reveals some of its specification.

"Gamespy liquored up some Xbox developers and extracting some more details on the Xbox 360. The “revelations” include rehash on most of the stuff we knew about the guts of the console. It will have three 3.0 Ghz PowerPC cores, a 500 Mhz GPU and 256 megs of system memory. The console will run games on a dual-layer DVD-9 disc and make use of 64 to 1,024 meg memory cards. The console’s hard drive will be optional and the 360 will use a USB 2.0 camera.
According to Gamespy’s spies all Xbox 360 games will have to be Live enabled and high-def. Gamespy promises to have more details up on the 360 Wednesday."

Read on XboX-Scene that there now saying it will have 512 of system memory. Damn with 512mb of memory it wont have any problems running emus!

Why is there only one controller port?? I think this is not the real thing. Maybe this might be a prototype?

Xbox 360 said to have wireless pads so this might be only the reciever for all pads.... will see on MTV

Someone posted on LF.com forums a supposed control pad for it.. the quality is low, but you never know.

I think that last pic is real. As soon as I saw it I knew it matched the picture posted from ourcolony.net, then a third picture matched both. It may not be a final desin, but i bet it is pretty damn close. We'll see in 2 weeks either way.

i bet they're all real. Microsoft is just pissed they got leaked so they're denying it to keep us in suspence. Yeah, see. I took an advertising class last semister, I know how their minds work. As for the single controller, I think all of the controllers will be bluetooth or something and that's a port for something else (perhaps the media center remote?). Can't be sure.

Hey, i had a question on a couple of pictures. First of all is the one attached. I haven't seen this picture anywhere and wondered if this was a fake if anyone knew. It looks nothing like the others floading around so I'm guessing it is. Although, it actually has 4 controller slots. I'm confused. Guess I just gotta wait till they reveal the final design.

The second is this attached one. Where I found this, they said it's the development kit for the 360. Is it just me or does this MICROSOFT Xbox 360 development look a lot like an APPLE G5 POWER PC?

If this new picture of Xbox is the real thing I feel sorry for the fan boys that’s hoping on a sexy gaming console to own, its way to big and it looks like a big DVD player. Can't people at Microsoft design anything I bet you the ps2 will look a lot better after seeing psp design.
