Clearing the Jewel

Hey guys, im working on clearing my jewel, I tried the oven cleaner and that didnt work at all. I eventually got it pretty clear by using fingernail polish remover but it left it sort of hazzy which im not too worried about and also left the gamecube text. Was just wondering what products others have had sucess with and possibly find out how to remove the gamecube text easily

when i was trying this i used sandpaper 400grit then 600 and toothpaste on normal paper to polish it. thats how i do my xbox ones too.

make sure you tape up the front with masking tape before you start, dont want to scratch it.
Spellchecking...I'll get right on that........

I used brasso, found at local grocery store. Didnt leave any haize, as long as you dont leave a puddle on it for 5 minutes. Just put some on a paper towel and wipe the back till clean. Then wash with ordianary hand soap. beautiful shine.
