ok, i just got a new ps3 and i was wondering if there was a way to play copied ps2 games on it. what i mean is like, you borrow or rent a ps2 game and u burn it onto a dvd or cd (i think dvd is the only way, since it says on the ps2 games that they're dvd). would this work? or would u need to do something else, like mounting an image file using Daemon tools or something?
Sony took the time to look at current boot discs and prevent them from working. Even if they DID work, you'd still need some way to swap the boot disc with the backup, and I haven't seen any swap methods for the PS3 yet.
