Exclamation GC/Wii Image Unscrambler released!! Let's the ISO Begin!

quote: "To use this program you need to have an image in raw format (2064 bytes per frame), this program works either with an image that hasn't been unscrambled before or an image unscrambled with standard DVD-ROM seeds." This implies that raw GC/Wii images can be dumped from a standard DVD ROM drive in Linux (via direct raw data dump to an iSO image) and then simply decrypt it with the Unscrambler v0.4 For GameCube And Wii Optical Discs (source code included) and play them as soon as a method is available.

Let the scene begin!

Good news indeed!

Hydrokugal, I must admit...the wii is worth the price. I have not purchased a nintendo console since SNES and Im very happy with the wii for the price. I see huge potential with this console, as far as new gaming experiences goes.

To be honest, I'd actually like to know where this news appeared from in the first place... Yet another brand new user posting some random "news".
Yeah... I completely believe this.

I hope you got it. If you find anything out as to a solution to my question about the xp os that would be much appreciated.

It's probably fake. If it is real I'd like to see the details. How do you read the disc? It just raises alot of questions. I'm sure someone is working on this right now. I'd like to see the source also.

Here's the output using Ubuntu 6.10 to try and dump with Elebits in the DVD drive.

Code:
$ sudo dd if=/dev/cdrom of=elebits.iso bs=2048 dd: opening `/dev/cdrom': No medium found
Looks like i have to disable edc, too lazy though.

Yeah, you could even do this with "dd for windows", only we need to figure out how to remove the EDC checks. Info on that is sketchy at best as far as I can tell.
