has anyone used or heard of ps2 linux and can anyone tell me if you can install it on the harddrive and then be able to install games on the same hardrive too.
Linux works on some of the big ps2 machines.But i think it works only up2 the v9/v10 consoles.
And games you can run and install on your harddrive while using the hdloader.
you can basically do your own homebrew coding with psgl and some other tools and can do some basic stuff with the ps2 as a computer not much though with 32mb of memory.
@hitman
thanks but i wanna know if you can install both of them on the same harddrive.
yes its basically like running linux was your running a game you have the bootstrap loader on your memory dedicated to linux and you pop in the disk and do what ever you wanted
google translate might do the job, im sorry that i dont have the time to translate it for you.
Yeah, that's good but is there any way to get linux on a 1 gig usb drive?? I got the fat ps2 and i know the usb is slow i don't care. I would do it the other way but my parents would get suspicious if i bought a harddrive, but a usb drive that's easy to hide and i'm only 14.
