Tetris Cheaters Poping Up Online

There has been a crop of people poping up online with hacked versions of the DS game Tetris. They have managed to hack the rom so that the ONLY piece they get is the l piece. Here is some video of the cheaters in action:

Stuff like this is gonna make Nintendo drop the hammer on the rest of us and most likely start some sort of online detection and banning system.

My brother knew this would happen. What a shame...

People do this s*** because they are pathetic virgins and have nothing better to do with their time. Cheaters are amusing because even though they "win" they know they didn't really earn that victory. Anyways, they do itt to get attention but now those fools are going to ruin it for all of us.

Really? Care to explain how they will "ruin" it for all of us?
Just play with folks you know that don't cheat. Problem solved.

I was once playing Tetris DS and got about 20 | pieces in a row, then it went back to normal. My opponant just got normal shapes - very strage - randomatically, neigh-on impossible. I wouldn't know (or want to know) how to cheat.

...I also had the same thing happen on DOS tetris, 10 years ago on a school computer.

...Honest!

One of the special items in the multiplayer mode allows you to get all long pieces for a certain amount of time. That's probably what happened to you pubjoe. I've never encountered anyone exploiting this in 1v1 wifi play though.
