Any homebrew that changes the backlight settings on a DS Lite?

Sorry you can't change it in game but there is "alite" which I uploaded for you below. Moonshell also has a version built-in.

No. It is a good test to see if your DS phat can do the 4 settings of brightness though. It if works, you should flash it.
