Eat Your Heart Out Mugsy B, Mario Is Comin' To Play

A game what we believe to be called Mario 3 on 3 is heading to the DS, making super good use of the DS's touchscreen in a basketball themed title for the console. To make characters dribble you will have to tap the screen with a brush of the stylus towards the hoop, swipes in the direction of your chosen character will encourage them to steal the ball from the opposition. This could certainly get very interesting!



This looks like another mega seller for Nintendo, please stop it you're making all the other devs look bad!

If I'm not mistaken, this game was announced at Square Enix's pre-E3 press conference. Thats right, this is a Mario basketball game devolped by our friends over at Square. How this is front page news worthy has me wondering why month-old Nintendo annoucements are making it to the front page.
