Question Complete noob! need help

Hey all. So I'm a complete newbie at the DS (just got one). I would like to put Moonshell on my DS but I don't know anything. I read the instructions, but still have a couple of questions:
1.) I have to flash my DS with new firmware to get this to work, correct? This is so that the DS will boot the files?
2.) Where can I get the flash program?
3.) Can the DS be returned to normal after the flash?
4.) There are a couple of options of what to put the prog on. Does anybody have a link to what is compatible with the DS? I would like to get a 1 gig card to go in slot 1.

I want to use my DS to watch some anime ^_^
Thanks a lot guys!!

P.S. I'm trying to become mod savvy, but couldn't find a "Modding the DS for Dummies/noobs" pages.

Put your flashcart in your card reader which will show up in My Computer.
If you do not have cart reader, just install it on C: After the installation, copy the folder name shell that was created by Moonshell setup and a file in C: that was created by Moonshell then paste it into the root folder of your Flashcart.
1. You do not need to flash your DS. As long as you have the passcard or passkey.
2. Flash program, you can search it in google. Version 7 is the newest one with the file around 500 K or more(for DSLite Compatibility(4 light settings).
3. Yes, but I am totally happy when I flashed mine. It has nothing wrong with it. It is a plus after you flash it. you no longer need Passcard / Passkey.

4. From what I know, Ninja DS is the one with SD compatible that can be use in Slot 1 other than that;Ninjapass which has built-in 512 MB(dont need GBA Slot to play) But I don't know If it's going to support other files system other than DS.

Moonshell can only run homebrew for game. It won't run roms.
