Universal Gameloader V0.2

A few bug fixes, as Dark_Alex found a bug in his 0.4 loader, fixed in here now,

If it freezes in devhook hold, L + R + START
and do it again n it will work 100% (this removes the gameloader from memory)

Supports:

ir shell support - with bg music
chossy's devhook evolved
dax 0.4
dual firmware
umdemu
fastloader
No umd on all loads

Also if you dont want irshell support, you can now remove it from memory by:

If you are using:

UMDEMU - use copyload (Best compatibilty)
DAX 0.4 ISO - Use MPHGL Loadexec or COPYLOAD (best compatibility)
Devhook- after you press start - hold L + R + Start to restart devhook (best compatibility)

Best compatibility is when the gameloader is removed from memory, but this means you can return back to it, or play music in the background,

Also incase anyone didn;t know if u hold L + Select with the gameloader still in background you can return to the gameloader menu while still playing your game. hold L + Select again to return to game

Could you do your game loader without Ir shell support as well?

To have it without irshell support:

-If you are using UMDEmu - use the copyload command,
-If you are using devhook, after you press start, hold L + R + Start to restart devhook without ir support.

there the only methods at the moments, i try to fix it up better later.
ir shell is good tho

Oh ok thanks for the quick reply great work! I am starting to like this one. I have your edit on here and I have chossy's and mika's that's all I need. I will see what I can do for a icon I am not very good but I'll give it a try.... New Icon is on page 3 enjoy.

this is great to have everything in one place, i would like some option to either enable /disable gameloader 1 (irshell) i know i can currently turn it off but i guess i am lazy.

Apart from that minor suggestion it rocks....

Ye thanks fot the comment, I will try see if i can add in an option in the next version,

But for now to disable it , do what i said in the first post.

Also ZigZag thanks alot for the icon. (I wonderer if you could do the same icon but without the 0.2 at the end just Universal Gameloader, so that i wont need a new icon everytime i update the version thx.)
I will add that in now and release the new update.

Also what are chossy's and mika's loaders what ones? (links), and i will add them into this, so you can use chossys evolved from here and have only one icon, it will be same compatibilty.
(I will update it to the new version of chossy evolved)

All games currently working, seem to work with this 100%.

Anyone found any games that dont work with this but work with other loaders?

Also you can boot Original UMD's, by inserting the umd then using the MPHgameloader1.1 loader.

Its not all for no umd users

this is awesome.... its the only multi loader i've found that doesnt freeze when loading infected. great app!!

But I think it's rather disrespectful to hex out all references to iR Shell and it's author AhMan ...

Ok, so why not release an ISO and thank Sony for it ?

Well you dont have to use it. Its optional

I just thought some people might like the idea of cleaning up there memcard and using all there popular loaders from one place.

thnx, seems like a great mod. but i cannot get it working


i was using mph and umdemu 8c and had gta working fine but all these new loaders do not seem to work. am i missing something ?

i have my firmware and its in the hidden dir and the hidden dir is on the root of the ms. i have tried mega man and gta and neither work.

i am going to umdemu standard with system menu then i am brought back to this mod and then i go to mphgame loader original fw and it freezes.


any ideas? which other modes should i be able to use for gta and megaman?

do i need to patch the prx files in gta with this or can i use the original ones?
