PS2 Reality Media Player

Just got this working last night on a chipped PS2 using the method of having PS2 Reality Media Player 1.5 on a cd. This boots, and then you go through a load of screens, then browse, eject cd, put in dvd, and choose your avi file.
Works ok.
Hard to find answers on the web, just wondering if people still use this or is there something better out there, or is the ps2 just not made for this kind of thing?

Have you tried the Playstation 2 Simple Media System (SMS)?

Free to download, there's a full manual online. </shameless plug>

puner, I believe you can, but dont have a network adapter in my ps2, so dont know much about it, sorry.

dave_t, thanks for info. Read instructions, but as I dont have a network adapter, I cant get the ELF file onto my memory card. Is it possible to just run SMS from a CD like PS2Reality does? If so, do you have instructions on how to make the cd, files required, lba settings, etc?
