IGN are running a nice feature which states their predictions for the year 2006 in relation to the Xbox 360 mainly. They believe that HD-DVD will go down the way of Sega's 32X, increases in Xbox live subscription prices, the death of the original Xbox, no 360 price drop but an Xbox one, a larget hard drive (80gb), more Japanese development and Halo 3 for 2007.

No one back then sold video games that they hyped to high hell RIGHT before Christmas and had shortages which increased public awareness that they better sleep outside so they can make a 900% profit on ebay. Genesis was insanely popular. Don't try to water it down.

people need to realise that blu ray only enables extra storage so its nothing that spectacular other then enabling uncompressed images and videos. not to say its not a great concept but its nothing worth the supposed 500 price tag that may get tagged on the ps3. As for ms shorting the stock before christmas, i'll admit too that didnt seem right because they had a target of how many they wanted to ship and didnt change the target goal until just a week or so ago but i dont see anybody but buyers selling there 360 on ebay because if micrsoft got caught doing it they could get in a loooooot of trouble for selling there own product above there msrp.
