Help with memor32

I've been trying to install ULE with no success. So far I did the following:
-Format Memor32 on PS2
-run the 1.2e memento firmware patch and waited for it to say ok.
-install savegame manager
-downloaded ule v4.39
-made folder c:\program files\Memor32\Ps2Saves\Boot
-extract ule archive and copied the files "uncompressed BOOT.ELF" "LAUNCHELF" "BOOT.ELF" totaling 1.26MB to boot folder
-run game manager
-restore boot to memor32
-put memor32 into ps2
-hold r1 while turning on ps2
-shows memento screen and hangs

I have no idea what to do now. I have a 30001 ps2. Please help thanks.

Ok you only needed the BOOT.ELF to copy to the BOOT folder. You don't need the uncompressed.elf or the Launchelf in there.

Try resetting your PS2, then hold R1 again.

I now have tried it with both 1.1 and 1.2e firmware versions. Even with just the boot.elf in there it still freezes at the memento logo. I tried it on 2 ps2's one of them being a 75000 slim. Also my memory card has no label. I see on youtube that they usually have labels on it. Could I have gotten a broken one?

I have two different memor32, one of them has a label and the other doesn't

They work the same. If your computer recognized it and savegame manager, then I highly doubt there is a problem with it.

It should have worked using 1.2e on the 75001, that is what I have.

It is case sensitive, to have the ELF files named as BOOT.ELF

Have you patched an ISO to see if it will load a game.

You need to hold R1 before you turn on the PS2. Another thing to try is just let it go to PS2 Browser, then check the card out, then reboot and Hit R1 while it resets.
